The Fox (Pub) |
A nicely situated pub with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. The menu is varied
although it hasn't changed much for as long as I can remember. The food is brought to your table and on the only occassion I had
cause to complain, it was dealt with quickly, politely and more than enough was done to fix the problem. |

The Harvester (Pub) |
Part of the famous chain of Pub/Restaurants, you probably know what to expect. The food is basic but the
portions are a good size and the service is friendly enough. I personally only go between 5pm-6.30pm to take advantage of the 1/3 off
deal. Without this, I feel the place is slightly overpriced for what you get. |

Conchitas (Mexican) |
We visited this restaurant on a friday night and were confronted with
what can only be described as a lively atmosphere. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other
speak. The place was more akin to being a bar than a restaurant with people dancing and generally enjoying themselves.
The service was adequate, the food reasonable and suitably priced. Not the place to go for a romantic meal but maybe a good choice for a party. |

La Galicia (Tapas) |
Once again this restaurant was extremely lively and we were
lucky to get a table. We ordered a selection of tapas from a wide variety on the menu and were
pleased with what we got. The service was as good as you would expect for a full house
and the food was priced well. |

Le Jardin de Provence (French) |
A very attractive restaurant that had all the trappings of a classy place to eat.
The service was very good and the food was excellent. There was ample selection on the
menu and the whole experience made you feel special. |

Mae Ping (Thai) |
Another attractive restaurant which had a lovely cosy and warm atmosphere.
The waitress was very attentive and the menu ample. We selected a set meal which
provided an excellent selection of food and was more than enough for the two of us. |

The Mongolian Barbeque (?) |
What can I say. This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to.
The service was abysmal and the food defied belief. The idea is that you go and pick
the food that you want from a selection laid on and then have it fried in front of you.
The only problem is that, with everyone else doing the same you are likely to queue
for quite a while. Basically all the meal consisted of was some stir fried vegetables and a bit of meat.
I was thoroughly dissapointed with the whole experience and cannot think of any reason why someone would want to go here. |

Mamma Angela (Italian) |
Inadvertantly arriving at this cosy little spot, I was pleasantly surprised.
We were extremely lucky to get a table but the service was warm, attentive and friendly.
The food on offer was varied and, although nothing out of the ordinary, was very nice and the portions were very good.
A nice place. |
